The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari has initiated the 1.5 km long Koilwar bridge over the Sone river in Bihar via Video Conferencing.
This newly introduced bridge is a part of the six-lane bridge being made in place of the existing two-lane bridge, for both rail and road traffic, which is 138 years old.
The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar virtually initiated Honey Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) Programme in five states, for producing honey.
These 5 FPOs will be set up by the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED). They will be set up at East Champaran (Bihar), Morena (Madhya Pradesh), Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) and Sunderbans (West Bengal).
The Bihar General Elections 2020 scheduled has been announced by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora. The voting will be held in three phases on 28 October, 3 November and 7 November and the counting of votes will be held on November 10, 2020.
“Ghar Tak Fibre” scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bihar which is basically a Optical Fibre Internet Services. The aim of this project is to connect 45,945 villages in the state.
Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of nine highway projects worth Rs. 14,258 crore in Bihar through video conferencing on 21 September 2020.
These highway projects include constructing road length of about 350 kilometres at a cost of Rs. 4258 crore and three bridges.
PM Modi also inaugurated the Ghar Tak Fibre project, under which all the 45,945 villages of Bihar will be connected through Optical Fibre Internet Service.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the historic Kosi Rail Mahasetu (mega bridge) to the nation through video-conference. He will also inaugurate 12 rail projects related to passenger facilities to benefit the people of Bihar.
The establishment of a new All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Darbhanga, Bihar is approved by the Union Cabinet which is chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
