PM Modi initiates the world’s largest renewable energy park in Gujarat

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 30,000 megawatts (MW) capacity hybrid renewable energy park in the Kutch district of Gujarat.
• It will be the largest renewable energy park of its kind in the world. It is expected to play a major role in fulfilling India’s vision of producing 450 GW (4,50,000 MW) of power by 2030.

Maharashtra Govt starts the Unified Development Control Rules for Real Estate

• The Government of Maharashtra has introduced the Unified Development Control and Promotion Regulations, (UDCPR), to strengthen and bring uniformity in the real estate construction laws of the state.
• This uniform set of regulations will designate everything from the height of buildings to the width of roads and the size of amenity spaces.

NITI Aayog publishes ‘Vision 2035: Public Health Surveillance in India’

• NITI Aayog has published a white paper named ‘Vision 2035: Public Health Surveillance in India’ on 14 December 2020.
• The ‘Vision 2035: Public Health Surveillance in India’ is a continuation of the work on Health Systems Strengthening. The building blocks for this vision are an interdependent federated system of governance between the Centre and states.

Cabinet allows Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana

• The Union Cabinet has given its permission for Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana (ABRY) to encourage employment in the formal sector by boosting the businesses to do fresh hiring amid the pandemic.
• ABRY will also incentivize the creation of new employment openings under Atmanirbhar Bharat Package 3.0.

PM Modi virtually unveils Construction work of Agra Metro project

• The Agra Metro project contains 2 corridors with a total length of 29.4 km. It would connect major tourist attractions like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandra with railway stations and bus stands.
