- The Union Cabinet has given its permission for Atmanirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana (ABRY) to encourage employment in the formal sector by boosting the businesses to do fresh hiring amid the pandemic.
- ABRY will also incentivize the creation of new employment openings under Atmanirbhar Bharat Package 3.0.
