PM Modi virtually unveils Construction work of Agra Metro project

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced the construction work of the Agra Metro project in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
• The Agra Metro project contains 2 corridors with a total length of 29.4 km. It would connect major tourist attractions like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandra with railway stations and bus stands. 

Yogi Adityanath rings the bell at BSE for listing bond of LMC

• Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath rang the bell at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), to point the listing of bonds of Lucknow Municipal Corporation on the exchange.
• The bonds of LMC were originated on November 13, with a coupon rate of 8.5 percent and had a tenure of 10 years. The issuance had garnered 4.5 times subscription.

Narendra Singh Tomar starts Honey FPO Programme in 5 states

• The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar virtually initiated Honey Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) Programme in five states, for producing honey.
• These 5 FPOs will be set up by the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED). They will be set up at East Champaran (Bihar), Morena (Madhya Pradesh), Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) and Sunderbans (West Bengal).

Nitin Gadkari introduces Highway projects in Uttar Pradesh

• Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has introduced and placed the foundation stones of 16 National Highway projects in Uttar Pradesh.
• The construction cost of these infra projects is approximated to be around Rs 7477 crore.

Ayodhya Airport to be renamed as Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport

• Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has cleared the plan to rename the Ayodhya airport as Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
• The plan for the same will be sent to the Ministry of Civil Aviation after it is passed by the state Assembly.

Pilibhit Tiger Reserve receives global award for doubling tiger population

PM Modi laid the foundation stone of rural drinking water supply projects in UP

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of rural drinking water supply plans in the Mirzapur and Sonbhadra districts of the Vindhyachal region in Uttar Pradesh through video conference.
• The total approximated cost of the projects is around Rs 5,555.38 Crore.

Keetham lake in Uttar Pradesh joined to Ramsar sites

• The Keetham lake, also known as Sur Sarovar, in Agra of Uttar Pradesh has been added to the list of Ramsar sites. More than 106 species of migratory birds rest in Sur Sarovar lake. The water of the lake is obtained from Agra Canal.
