The Nongpok Sekmai Police Station in Manipur topped the list of best police stations in India, while SooramangalamAll Women Police Station at Salem, Tamil Nadu has come up as the second best police station in the country.
The Kharsang PS, Arunachal Pradesh‘sChanglang district has come up as the country’s third-best police station.
The Indian Railways is constructing the world’s tallest pier bridge in Manipur, across river Ijai. The height of the bridge will be 141 meters and its estimated outlay is Rs 280 crore. The bridge is being built at Marangching village and will be completed by March 2022.

Khudol of Manipur has been listed in the top 10 influencers to fight COVID-19 by the United Nations . Khudol is a crowd funded initiative by the Ya_All(Founded in 2017) and aims to provide food and medical supplies to people suffering from HIV, daily wage earners , childrens etc.
Chak-Hao, the black rice of Manipur and the Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh’s terracotta have bagged the Geographical Indication (GI) tag. Chak-Hao, a scented glutinous rice has been in cultivation in Manipur over centuries. It has also been used by traditional medical practitioners as part of traditional medicine.
The terracotta work of Gorakhpur is a centuries-old traditional art form, where the potters make various animal figures like, horses, elephants, camel, goat, ox, etc. with hand-applied ornamentation.Some of the major products of craftsmanship include the Hauda elephants, Mahawatdar horse, deer, camel, five-faced Ganesha, singled-faced Ganesha, elephant table, chandeliers, hanging bells etc.
