- Madhya Pradesh has topped among the other states in the implementation of PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) which aims to boost street vendors.
- About PM SVANidhi PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) is a Special Micro-Credit Facility for Street Vendors to help them in continuing their business. It also offers interest free working capital of Rs 10,000 for one year. Under the scheme, interest subsidy of 7% on loan amount will be borne by the Central Government while the remaining amount will be borne by the State Government.
