Ayodhya Airport to be renamed as Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport

• Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has cleared the plan to rename the Ayodhya airport as Maryada Purushottam Sri Ram Airport, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
• The plan for the same will be sent to the Ministry of Civil Aviation after it is passed by the state Assembly.

Narendra Singh Tomar virtually introduces Phagwara mega food park

• Union Food Processing Industries Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has virtually originated the Rs 107.83 crore mega food park at Phagwara in Kapurthala district of Punjab.
• So far, 37 mega food parks have been approved across the country, of which 20 have started functioning.

• The hospital, Surbhi Aarogyashala, is set up by Shree Gopal Gaushala at a cost of Rs 17 lakh.

5th India International Cherry Blossom Festival canceled

Madhya Pradesh govt declares ‘Gau Cabinet’ for protection of cows

• The Madhya Pradesh government, headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has planned to set up a ‘Gau Cabinet’ for the protection, conservation and promotion of cows in the state.
• The Cabinet will include the departments of animal husbandry, forests, panchayat and rural development, revenue, home and farmers welfare.
