Himachal CM starts ‘Panchvati Yojana’ for elderly folks, to develop 100 parks in the state

• Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, on 9th June, started the “Panchavati Yojana” for senior citizens of rural areas in the state.
• In this scheme, parks and gardens will be made in all the development blocks with essential facilities under the MNREGA scheme of the Rural Development Department.

Maximum ever allocation of fund worth Rs 1,01,500 crore in MGNREGS for FY 2020-21

• A plan of Rs 1,01,500 crore has been presented under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in the present financial year 2020-2021.
• For the financial year 2020-21, a total of Rs 31,493 crore has already been released which is more than 50 percent of the budget calculation of the current Financial Year.

Govt allows Rs. 1,280 Crore for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in Madhya Pradesh during 2020-21

• The government of India signed ₹1,280 Crore for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the State in 2020-21. Madhya Pradesh has prepared to have 100% Functional Household Tap Water Connection (FHTC) by 2023-24.
