• As per an annual report released on the Global Economic Freedom Index 2020 India has fallen 26 spots to rank at the 105th position. Hong Kong topped the index again, followed by Singapore at the second rank.

CARE Ratings report: Overall Jobs Growth Rate Slips to 3.5% in FY20

• According to the CARE Ratings report, the employment growth rate declined to 3.5 per cent in FY20 from 3.8 per cent in the previous fiscal year, but the total number of jobs increased to 50.02 lakh from 48.32 lakh.
