• Former world snooker champion from United Kingdom, Peter Ebdon announces retirement. He became world champion in 2002 by beating Stephen Hendry from Scotland. He also won 7 other snooker events from 1993 to 2012.

Russia to launch Arktika-M satellite by end of this year

• Russia has announced to launch Arctic climate and environment monitoring satellite. It will be launching country’s first Arktika-M satellite form the Balkonur space center in Decemeber 2020.
• This satellite will collect meteorological data in the polar regions of the earth to improve weather forecast
