Andhra Pradesh observes Farmers’ Day as tribute to YSR Reddy on his birth anniversary

• The state of Andhra Pradesh is commemorating July 8 as Rythu Dinotsavam (Farmers’ Day) as it signifies the birth anniversary of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the 14th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh who worked from 2004 to 2009. On the first day of his term in 2004, YSR Reddy gave free electricity to farmers in a campaign project.

Haryana made the reservation of 75 percent Jobs with Less than Rs 50,000 Salary in the Private Sector of the State for Locals

Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary to be modernized into a National Park
