Hockey India appointed Gyanendro Ningombam, as the new Officiating President

  •  The Hockey India Executive Board has named former chief executive officer (CEO) of Manipur Hockey, Gyanendro Ningombam, as the new Officiating President of Hockey India.
  • The decision was taken after the resignation of Mohd Mushtaaque Ahmad as the president of the Hockey India on 7th July.

Government extends Union Bank of India CEO Rajkiran Rai’s term by another two years

  • Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, the Chairman of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) receives a 6 months continuation in his tenure as Chairman of NHAI. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet accepted the extension in central deputation tenure of Sandhu as Chairman of NHAI beyond 21st July 2020, till mid-January 2021.
