The UK Government has launched a £3 million “Innovation Challenge Fund” in India with an aim to support scientists in the academic arena and industry to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.
A grant of USD 500 million assistance approved by India to Maldives to boost their connectivity project.
This project will include the construction of the Greater Male Connectivity Project of around 6.7 km and also promote and sustain dynamic people-to-people ties between India and Maldives.
