10 October, as an extension of World Post Day, which is celebrated on 9 October. The Day aims to commemorate the role played by the Indian postal department for the past 150 years.
To create awareness of the role of the postal sector in people’s and businesses’ everyday lives and its contribution to the social and economic development of countries, the United Nations celebrates World Post Day every year on 09th October.
