India’s longest single-lane motorable suspension bridge has been initiated in Tehri-Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The Dobra-Chanti Jhula (suspension) bridge, was introduced by the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat to mark the 20th foundation day of the state on 9th November 2020.
In Uttarakhand, Dehradun Municipal Corporation (DMC) has started a drive named Plastic Lao MASK LE JAO to combat the menace of plastic waste and contain the spread of COVID-19.
It has distributed Five thousand face masks in replacement for plastic waste.
Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana launched in Dehradun by the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat with an aim to promote self-employment of the youth and also promote production of green energy.

Four additional states, namely Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Nagaland and Uttarakhand adopted the ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ plan of the Central government. The remaining states/UT will implement this scheme by March 2021.
Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, MoS, I/C, Civil Aviation flagged off the first helicopter service by Pawan Hans in Uttarakhand under the UDAN-RCS scheme on 29 July.
The new heli service will enable connectivity between Dehradun, New Tehri, Srinagar and Gauchar. It will enhance the aerial connectivity between hilly regions in Uttarakhand. It will reduce the average travel time to 20-25 minutes. The move will assist the Chaar Dhaam Yatra pilgrims.
