Union Cabinet approved a proposal for the construction of 780 kilometer of green highways on 13 March 2020. It was declared by the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar. The project targets to rehabilitate and upgrade various National Highways in four states, namely Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched and laid foundation stones for 23 development projects worth Rs 2,821 crore at Gautam Buddh Nagar in Noida. These projects comprises India’s biggest multi-level parking with space for 7,000 vehicles at estimated cost of Rs 500 crore, a government hospital, three power substations and many more.
The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a proposal to rename Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University in Lucknow. The Cabinet has finalized to rename the university as Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Languages University.
Madhya Pradesh has become the 1st state in the country to starts the unified registration card and the 2nd state to release the unified driving license after Uttar Pradesh.
