The World Economic Forum (WEF) has finalized to host its 2021 yearly meeting in Singapore, which earlier was planned to take place in Lucerne-Burgenstock, Switzerland from 13-16 May 2021.
The decision to shift the yearly forum from Switzerland has been taken in view of the Covid-19 situation in Europe.

As per an annual report released on the Global Economic Freedom Index 2020 India has fallen 26 spots to rank at the 105th position. Hong Kong topped the index again, followed by Singapore at the second rank.
Apple is set to launch its first ‘floating’ store in Singapore on 10th September. The first-of-its-kind store has a sphere-shaped all-glass dome structure that is fully self-supported, and made up of 114 pieces of glass, held together by only 10 narrow vertical mullions for structural connection.
