  • Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan committed to the nation, 56 CNG stations scattered over 11 States and Union Territories. These stations are in Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.

  • The government of Rajasthan has partnered with MedCords to launch Aayu and Sehat Sathi app. Using this app, people of rajasthan can consult doctors online for any consultation and can also order medicines if required.

Rajasthan police released a mobile app titled “RajCop citizen app”

  • Rajasthan police have released a mobile app “RajCop citizen app” to enable individuals and company employees in the state to take authority for venturing out in necessary conditions.
  • Rajasthan Police begins giving permits on the app for movement during the lockdown.

Cabinet approves construction of 780 Km of green highways in four states

Union Cabinet approved a proposal for the construction of 780 kilometer of green highways on 13 March 2020. It was declared by the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar. The project targets to rehabilitate and upgrade various National Highways in four states, namely Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.

13th Jaipur Literature Festival to begin

13th Jaipur Literature Festival will be held from 23th to 27th January. The themes of the festival include climate, constitution, poetry, and artificial intelligence. The five-day event will see more than 200 sessions. Around 500 speakers of different fields are expected to participate in the festival, out of which 120 are award-winning speakers.

The festival will have a range of speakers including Nobel laureate Abhijit Banerjee, Booker award-winning British novelist Howard Jacobson and Auther Elizabeth Gilbert. 37 sessions will be held on the first day, which includes speakers such as Nandita Das, Subha Mudgal and Prasoon Joshi among others.
