The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of the current chairman of the Railway Board VK Yadav as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The first ever Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO-RO) train between Bengaluru (Nelamangala) to Solapur (Maharashtra) flagged off by the Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. It will cover a distance of 682 km.
