Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of nine highway projects worth Rs. 14,258 crore in Bihar through video conferencing on 21 September 2020.
These highway projects include constructing road length of about 350 kilometres at a cost of Rs. 4258 crore and three bridges.
PM Modi also inaugurated the Ghar Tak Fibre project, under which all the 45,945 villages of Bihar will be connected through Optical Fibre Internet Service.
The theme of the programme is “seventy” as it will be PM Modi’s 70th birthday. To Mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday Seva Saptah is observed between September 14, 2020 and September 20, 2020. Seva Saptah is also called a week of Seva. During the week various welfare activities have been performed by Party Leaders.
Seven urban infrastructure projects inaugurated and laid by PM Narendra Modi.
The projects will be implemented at a total cost of Rs 541 crore.
water supply projects built under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation in Siwan Municipal Council and Chapra Municipal Corporation
laid the foundation stone of the Munger water supply scheme under the AMRUT Mission
laid the foundation stone of the Jamalpur water supply scheme under the AMRUT Mission in Jamalpur Municipal Council
inaugurate sewerage treatment plants built under Namami Gange at Beur and Karmalichak in Patna Municipal Corporation
laid the foundation stone of the Muzaffarpur Riverfront Development Scheme, being built under Namami Gange. Under the scheme, three ghats of Muzaffarpur – Chandwara Ghat, Poorvi Akhada Ghat and Seedhi Ghat will be developed.
The ‘Grih Pravesham’ event in Madhya Pradesh was addressed by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through video conferencing. Under this, 1.75 Lakh Families in Madhya Pradesh were delivered pucca houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Grameen (PMAY-G).
GARIMA Scheme will be implemented by the state Housing and Urban Development department in all the 114 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Odisha.
