The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has marginally raised its GDP prediction for India to a contraction of 9.9% in 2020-21 (FY21) from its earlier projection of (-)10.2% in September 2020.
India has acquired the second rank in terms of the number of migrants going to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries and acquiring the citizenship of those countries.
China retained its top spot with 4.3 lakh migrants.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) declared India’s growth at -3.7% for the ongoing fiscal with a rider that growth could decline further to -7.3% in the event of a second COVID-19 outbreak, according to its Economic Outlook (EO) published on 10th June.
