- The World Athletics Day-2020 is celebrated on the 7 May. The date is subject to adjustment, the date of World Athletics Day is decided by the International Amateur Athletic Federation(IAAF), however, the month stays the same as May.
- The aim of World Athletics Day is to encourage the participation of youths in athletics.
