The High Commission of India in Bangladesh hosted the Seminar on Indian Defence Equipment in Dhaka which was attended by 12 Indian firms. Aim of the seminar was to pursue further cooperation between India and Bangladesh in the field of defence technologies.
The Chief of the Defence staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat has declared the plan of establishing the first Integrated Tri-Services Command. The Integrated Tri-Services Command will be responsible for managing the air defence of the entire country.
Indian Army has developed the world’s first bulletproof helmet which withstands even AK-47 bullet round from 10 meters. Earlier, Major Anoop Mishra had developed bulletproof jacket against sniper bullets.
