• Former Maharashtra cricketer Sadashiv Patil, who played as medium-pacer, has passed away. He was 86. Patil had represented India in only one Test and played 36 first-class matches over 11 seasons between 1952 and 1964.

David Capel, former England Cricketer passes away

• David Capel, former England Cricketer passed away.
• Capel served as assistant coach of the England Women’s team in 2013 and as a coach for Bangladesh Women’s team from 2016 to 2018. He was inducted in the hall of Fame of Northamptonshire county cricket club in 2018.
