1st solar-based water supply project of India started in Arunachal Pradesh

  • Union Jal Shakti Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has started India’s first solar-based Integrated Multi-Village Water Supply Project (IMVWSP) in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The solar-based lift water supply project is ‘first of its kind’ in the country, and has been approved at a cost of Rs 28.50 crore.

  • Chi Lupo sketches the tradition of honey hunting practiced in the Shertukpen community in which “Chi” means honey while “Lipo” means hunters.

With the implementation of the e-Vidhan project, MLAs can access every information regarding the Assembly, see the list of business and read questions and other documents related to House proceedings through their laptops and tablet computers.
