- Raja Parba festival observed in Odisha. It is a 3-days different festival in which the onset of monsoon and the earth’s womanhood is observed by the state. It is considered that during this time the Mother Earth or Bhudevi undergoes menstruation. The fourth day is the day of the ‘purification bath’.
