An exclusive department for Self Help Group (SHGs) called “Mission Shakti” will be opened in Odisha. With this, Odisha will become the first state to have such kind of department. It targets for the development of women & is dedicated to all the women of Odisha.
Gujarat has topped the list for domestic solar rooftop installations with 64% of domestic solar installations. Nearly 50,915 systems being fixed on domestic rooftops in the State as on March 2, 2020. The State government of Gujarat has adopted a solar rooftop scheme “Surya Gujarat” to cover about eight lakh domestic electricity consumers under the scheme by 2022.
Uttarakhand state is going to become the first state of the country to measure Gross Environment Product (GEP) for quantifying ecological growth measurement. A five-member committee in this regard has already been formed which is led by the principal secretary of forests, Uttarakhand.

Chief Secretary of Punjab, Karan Avtar Singh has started a mobile application, COVA Punjab. COVA stands for Corona Virus Alert. This app has been made by the Department of Government Reforms and Public Grievances in consultation with the Health and Family Welfare Department to spread awareness by sharing various travel and preventive care advisories.

The festival aims to create new opportunities to promote the rich cultural, natural and architectural heritage, traditions and history of the state. “Namaste Orchha festival will exhibit the cultural landscape of Madhya Pradesh through a series of activities such as art, music, dance, guided history tours and photography.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched and laid foundation stones for 23 development projects worth Rs 2,821 crore at Gautam Buddh Nagar in Noida. These projects comprises India’s biggest multi-level parking with space for 7,000 vehicles at estimated cost of Rs 500 crore, a government hospital, three power substations and many more.
The state government of Uttarakhand has declared “Gairsain” to be its summer capital. Gairsain is a tehsil located in Chamoli district. The state Assembly of Uttarakhand is located in Dehradun while assembly sessions are also organized in Gairsain. Garsain was always demanded by the statehood activists as the permanent capital of the state.
