Karnataka’s Mysuru to become India’s First Sandalwood Museum

• India’s first Sandalwood Museum is being set up in Aranya Bhavan in Ashokapuram, Mysuru, Karnataka.
• The museum is made by the Regional Forest Department to educate farmers about the significance of the cultivation of sandalwood.

Country’s longest motorable single-lane bridge initiated in Uttarakhand

1st solar-based water supply project of India started in Arunachal Pradesh

• Union Jal Shakti Minister, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has started India’s first solar-based Integrated Multi-Village Water Supply Project (IMVWSP) in Arunachal Pradesh.
• The solar-based lift water supply project is ‘first of its kind’ in the country, and has been approved at a cost of Rs 28.50 crore.
