Two new technologies namely “Disinfectant spray for surface application” and “Disinfectant spray for Vegetables & fruits” have been developed by the Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) to remove pesticide residues left over on the surface.

The CSIR-CMERI has set up the world’s largest solar tree at its residential colony in Durgapur, West Bengal. The solar tree has an installed capacity above 11.5 kWp.
The annual capacity of the solar tree will include generating about 12,000-14,000 units of clean and green power.
Objective: to ensure maximum exposure of each Solar PV Panel to sunlight and create least amount of shadow area beneath.
