The Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda is to launch the largest handicraft and organic product market place called “Tribes India E-MarketPlace”. The market place is an initiative of TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India).
The Cabinet Committee in Security approved ASCON (Army Static Switched Communication Network) Phase IV which is a high-end communication system. It is to be implemented at an estimated cost of Rs 7,796 crores. The project is to be implemented within 36 months.
