“Mylab PathoDetect COVID-19 Qualitative PCR kit” has become the first ‘Made in India’COVID19 Test Kit to receive the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) approval.
CDSCO has given the commercial approval to the COVID-19 diagnostic test kit which is also called as the Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will infuse liquidity of Rs 30,000 crore by purchasing of Government securities under Open Market Operations (OMOs) to maintain financial stability in the Indian economy.

The Government of India has allowed the proposal of setting up of National Technical Textiles Mission with an outlay of Rs. 1480 crores. The mission would be set up for a period of 4 years from 2020-21 to 2023-24.
The mission focuses on the development in usage of technical textiles in various flagship missions as well as programmes of the country.
The Mission will also work towards the promotion of innovation amongst young engineering /technology/ science standards and graduates along with creation of innovation and incubation centres and promotion of start-up and Ventures.

Indian Navy has established a Quarantine Camp at INS Vishwakarma in Eastern Naval Command (ENC) for Indian nationals being evacuated from COVID-19 affected countries.
The Quarantine Camp has the capacity to accommodate nearly 200 personnel with all appropriate facilities.
Indian nationals being evacuated from COVID-19 affected countries will be closely monitored by a team of naval personnel and medical professionals of ENC.

On March 13, 2020, The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), India’s largest Central Armed Police Force, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF),a non-profit organization which helps people with disabilities to pursue sports, to train its 189 CRPF personnel who had lost their limbs in operations in areas of cyber security, artificial intelligence (AI) and paralympic sports.
The agreement inked in the presence of CRPF’s Director General (DG) AP Maheshwari, will help create newer opportunities for such personnel to continue as the integral part of the force.
