Delhi Government has released the ‘Operation SHIELD’ to check the spread of COVID-19 in the national capital.
The Operation Shield will be executed in 21 localities identified as containment zones in Delhi.
In the Operation SHIELD: S is Sealing of area; H is Home quarantine; I is Isolation of infected patients; E is Essential services ensured; L is Local sanitization; D is Door to door survey.
US Agency for International development(USAID) has provided an aid of $2.1 million to India to support the fight against COVID-19 . This aid has been provided to speed up the process of stopping the coronavirus from spreading and to prevent local transmission.
Competition Samadhan has been launched by Ministry of Human resource development(MHRD) and All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) to encourage scientific minds of the country to create some solution to stop COVID-19 pandemic.

Delhi government has launched 5T plan to tackle COVID-19 pandemic. These 5Ts are: Testing, Tracing, Treatment, Teamwork and Tracking. These 5Ts will prove very beneficial in stopping the spread of coronavirus.
Small Industries Development Bank of India(SIDBI) will provide emergency working capital of Rs. 1 Crore to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
This amount will be provided at an interest rate of 5% within 48 hours under the SIDBI Assistance to Facilitate Emergency response against Coronavirus (SAFE).
The Civil Aviation ministry has launched initiative “Lifeline UDAN” to supply medical supplies and other medical cargo including essential medicines, masks, ventilators etc.
This initiative will ensure sufficient supply of these products all over the country.
The Indian air force has launched “Operation Sanjeevani” to supply 6.2 tonnes of medical equipment and medicines to the Maldives via cargo aircraft “C-130J Super Hercules“.
These supplies are required by the Maldives to treat patients affected by COVID-19.
Amitabh Kant will be heading the group constituted by the Government of India for addressing issues related to COVID-19 such as identification of problems, effective solutions, and planning.
The group will coordinated response activities among, Private players, NGOs and International Organizations.
