IPPB starts PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana

• India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has begun a low-cost insurance scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)’ for its customers to bring large segments of the underserved and unserved population into the financial mainstream.
• IPPB has tied-up with PNB MetLife India Insurance Company for this product.

India to host G-20 Summit in 2023

• India will host the Summit of the G20 Group in 2023. India was earlier slated to host the summit in 2022.
• India and Indonesia have interchanged their respective hosting year of G20 as Indonesia would also host the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2023.

India to be the 4th nation to get IMO nod for the navigation satellite system

PM Modi & Bhutanese PM Jointly start RuPay Card Phase-II

• Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering virtually started RuPay card Phase-II, to permit Bhutanese cardholders to access the RuPay network in India.
• In August 2019, PM Modi and his Bhutanese counterpart jointly began Phase-I of the project.

India successfully test fires QRSAM system off Odisha Coast

• India favorably test-fired the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) system off the coast of Balasore in Odisha.
• The system accomplished a major milestone by a direct hit on to a Banshee Pilotless target aircraft at medium range and medium altitude.

IRCTC to begin ‘Bharat Darshan Yatra’ on December

• Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will be commencing ‘Bharat Darshan–Dakshin Bharat Yatra’ from December 12.
• The Bharat Darshan Yatra will begin from Hyderabad and Secunderabad from December 12 to 18.
• The theme of this yatra will be ‘Show India to Indians’.

• The Finance Minister of India, Smt Nirmala Sitaraman has declared the ‘Aatmanirbhar’ Package 3.0.
• Addressing a press conference to declare more stimulus measures to promote growth. According to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, PMI rose to 58.9 in October 2020 showing a strong comeback of the economy from the COVID-19 crisis.
