Indian Railways started 1st Kisan Rail Sewa

• First of its kind ‘Kisan Rail’ sewa was started by Indian Railways with an aim to transport agricultural products like vegetables, fruits to the market in a short period of time. This train is flagged off by Union Minister of Agriculture Narendra Singh Tomar and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal via videoconferencing.
