  • Time Higher Education (THE) has declared the THE Asia University Rankings 2020. 56 Indian institutes participated in the rankings this year from which eight have come in the top 100. Among the Indian institutes, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has appeared as the best with reserving its place at the 36th rank.

  • Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is the only Indian star to feature on Forbes 2020 list of World’s 100 Highest-Paid celebrities. While the actor’s rank has observed a drop from last year. Forbes also showed the actor’s earning and stated that Akshay had an approximated $48.5 million earnings this year, matched to $65 million last year. From the 33rd spot, Akshay has fallen to the 52nd spot.
