  • The Central minister stated that in 2019-20 Telangana was allotted with ₹ 259.14 Crore and only ₹ 105.52 Crore could be delivered by the Government of India as State was incapable to avail the second installment due to non-reporting of physical progress and non-submission of the proper expenditure plan.

  • The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has started a new platform, named Yukti 2.0, which is an online depository for innovative concepts aimed at fostering and promoting innovation among students and teachers. The portal, named Yukti 2.0, was originally promoted with the name Massive Indian Novelty Depository (MIND).

Central Govt approved Rs 156.61 Crore for FY20-21 to Tripura for implementation of JJM in State

  • For the year 2020-21, the fund allocation for the implementation of JJM in Tripura has been enhanced from Rs 107.64 Crore to Rs 156.61 Crore. With an initial balance of Rs 136.45 Crore available with the State and along with this year’s allocation of Rs 156.61 Crore, and considering the State matching share, a total of Rs 320.16 Crore will be available with the state.

  • The central government digitally started AarogyaPath on June 12, 2020. It is a web-based solution for the healthcare supply chain portal. It will give real-time availability of significant healthcare supplies for manufacturers, customers, and suppliers.

  • A plan of Rs 1,01,500 crore has been presented under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in the present financial year 2020-2021.
  • For the financial year 2020-21, a total of Rs 31,493 crore has already been released which is more than 50 percent of the budget calculation of the current Financial Year.
