The GoI has signed a statement with YuWaah of UNICEF to support young people in entrepreneurship, upskill young people, promote change and to provide career guidance support to young people.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced that the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the high school curriculum for Grade XI and XII for the current academic year (2020 – 2021) has been developed in collaboration with IBM.
The curriculum is part of CBSE’s Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action (SEWA) program.
The initiative is aimed at helping students to learn AI skills for social good.
This curriculum will be launched in around 200 schools across Delhi-NCR, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Kerala, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab (13 states of India)
Airports Authority of India (AAI) has entered into an MoU with Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics (BEL).
Objective of this MoU is to provide a platform for both the companies to collaborate and support each other to address the emerging global opportunities in the airport business, including those in the Asia Pacific region.
The MoU would provide for synergy between the two organisations in their respective domains, leading to mutually beneficial solutions in the field of aviation.

US chipmaking giant Qualcomm’s venture arm has invested Rs 730 crore (approximately $97 million) in Jio Platforms for a 0.15 percent stake. This is the 13th foreign investment in Reliance’s $65 billion digital business in a span of 12 weeks.
The investment will deepen the ties between Qualcomm and Jio Platforms to support Jio Platforms on its journey to roll out advanced 5G infrastructure and services for Indian customers.

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H) has collaborated with NVIDIA, a US-based multinational technology company, to establish India’s first ‘NVIDIA AI Technology Centre’(NVAITC) to accelerate research on Artificial Intelligence and its commercial adoption.
The centre will focus on advancing AI research in the areas of Agriculture and Smart Cities besides Language Understanding, increasing crop yield, support safer transportation systems and better ways of managing traffic, among others.
