COP26 climate change conference deferred until 2021 due to COVID-19

- The COP26 summit was set to be organized by the U.K. at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow, Scotland, with over 30,000 people supposed to attend.
Hindustan Unilever finishes its merger with GSKCH India

- Hindustan Unilever on 2nd April declared fulfillment of GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd’s merger (GSKCH) with itself.
- The company has obtained all the required regulator approvals along with the National Company Law Tribunal for the merger of GSKCH into the company, HUL stated.
World Athletics championship delayed to 2022

- The 2021 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon will be postponed to 2022 to accommodate the re-arranged Tokyo Olympics, World Athletics stated.
- The World Athletics Championships that were programmed to take place in Eugene on August 6-15, 2021, can no longer be held on those dates due to the shifting of 2020 Tokyo Games to 2021
Wimbledon canceled due to COVID-19, the first time since World War II

DARPG releases “National Monitoring Dashboard on COVID-19 Grievances”
