Affordable housing firm Aavas receives $60m ADB loan

- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has inked an agreement to lend up to $60 million to Aavas Financiers Ltd, a housing finance company in India, to enhance access to housing finance for lower-income borrowers, especially women.
S&P further cut India’s growth forecast to 3.5% from 5.2% for FY21

Central govt again defines domicile for J&K; Perks and Privileges of ex-CMs of J&K taken away

- The domicile of Jammu & Kashmir was redefined which has stated that a person residing in J&K for at least 15 years or has studied for a period of seven years there and appeared in Class 10 or 12 examinations will now be eligible to be a permanent resident of the UT.
