UltraTech’s subsidiary to sell the whole stake in Chinese cement firm for $129 million

  • Krishna Holdings, a subsidiary of UltraTech Nathdwara Cement, will trade its entire 92.5 percent stake in China’s Shandong Binani Rongan Cement for around $129 million. UltraTech Nathdwara Cement is a subsidiary of the UltraTech Cement.

CBDT and SEBI signed MoU for data exchange

  • A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for data exchange between the two organizations.
  • The MoU will facilitate the sharing of data and information between SEBI and CBDT on an automatic and regular basis.
  • A Data Exchange Steering Group has also been constituted for the initiative, which will meet periodically to review the data exchange status and take steps to further improve the effectiveness of the data sharing mechanism.

Tamil Nadu Tops Market Borrowings Among States in India With a Collection of Rs 30,500 crore for 2020-21

  • According to data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Tamil Nadu (TN) has topped market borrowings among States in India with a collection of Rs.30,500 crore in the fiscal 2020-21(FY 21).
  • TN, which has accounted for 17% of the borrowings done through the issue of bonds has been topped the list.
