  • According to BSNL officials, the new payment facility developed by the company will enable its partners, especially prepaid sellers, to purchase service immediately for sale.

Suresh N Patel appointed new Vigilance Commissioner of India

    • Eminent banker Suresh N Patel has been appointed as the New Vigilance Commissioner of India. He  was administered the oath of office by Central Vigilance Commissioner Sanjay Kothari through video conference.
    • He has over three decades of banking experience, and has also worked as the executive director in Oriental Bank of Commerce, before taking over as the Managing Director and CEO of Andhra Bank in 2015.

  • He will succeed Atanu Chakraborty who retired on April 30, 2020.
