- A death case has been found in China’s Yunnan province due to Hantavirus infection, a virus spread from rodents.
- It causes hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS), and hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) to the infected person. It does not circulate from person to person.
