- Indian athletes, Bajrang Punia (Freestyle-Wrestling) and Elavenil Valarivan (Shooting) won the top honors at the virtually held FICCI India Sports Awards 2020 on the back of the 10th Global Sports Summit.
- The two athletes, who have had an extraordinary 2019-20 season, won the Sportsperson of the Year awards in their respective categories.
