- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has designated senior IAS officer Utpal Kumar Singh as Secretary-General of the Lok Sabha and Lok Sabha Secretariat.
- His appointment will come into effect from December 1, 2020. He will replace incumbent Snehlata Shrivastava.
