- The Hockey India Executive Board has named former chief executive officer (CEO) of Manipur Hockey, Gyanendro Ningombam, as the new Officiating President of Hockey India.
- The decision was taken after the resignation of Mohd Mushtaaque Ahmad as the president of the Hockey India on 7th July.
