A US carrier strike group led by the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz conducted a “cooperative” exercise with Indian warships in the Indian Ocean on Monday.
The cooperative exercises took place near the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and transited through the Indian Ocean region.
India successfully conducted the flight trial of Dhruvastra anti-guided missile at the Interim Test Range of Odisha. The trials of the helicopter launched Nag Missile (HELINA) were successful. The missile has now been renamed as “Dhruvastra”.
Helina is a third-generation anti-tank guided missile mounted on Advanced Light Helicopter. The missile system can engage targets indirect hit mode and attack mode.
